CAD Engineer
Your tasks
- Development of chassis parts and systems for passenger car- and commercial vehicle applications
- Modelling of complex 3D-designs according both internal and external requirements
- Specification of dimensions and tolerances, including GD&T
- Performing tolerance stack-up analysis
- Maintaining structural design solutions from early concept phase until product release and starting manufacturing
- Laying out and drawing schematic, orthographic or angle views to depict functional relationships of components, assemblies and systems
- Creating design- and model set-up guidelines
- Close collaboration as expert with internal teams/divisions, suppliers and customers
- Providing continuously CAD- and design development/methodology support for technical standards in alignment with THK European CAD Team
Your profile
- University degree in the field of Mechanical Engineering, Vehicle Technology or comparable
- Minimum of five years’ experience in a role as CAD engineer is appreciated
- Profound knowledge in the field of technical 3d CAD design development is appreciated
- Solid knowledge of design-to-cost and design-to-manufacture (e.g. forging, casting) is appreciated
- Solid knowledge in tolerance stack-up analysis is beneficial
- Experience and confident handling with standard 3d CAD software package Catia are appreciated
- Solid knowledge of Mechanics and various Manufacturing Processes is appreciate
- Autonomous self-motivated personality
- Excellent English skills, both written and spoken; German skills are beneficial
- Being flexible together with teamwork thinking
- Willingness to travel within CZ and abroad
