Intelligent Chassis Components and Sensor Ball Joints

Your main tasks

  • Together with experts from the automotive industry and engineers from various business areas of the company, you plan and design innovative products for use in future urban and interurban mobility.
  • You will work in the Advanced R&D team on the new development of chassis components with integrated sensors and intelligent functions for vehicle dynamics control, load, damage and condition monitoring
  • You take part in international conferences, collaborations with automotive manufacturers, suppliers and universities, and shape the company’s future products.
  • Together with experts in quality-oriented series production, you prepare future industrial production in the international production plants
  • You will develop customer-specific and internal system requirements with regard to technical, financial and business feasibility.

What you should know and be able to do?

  • Degree in engineering, specializing in mechatronics, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or automotive engineering  with several years of professional experience
  • Experience in the field of sensor technology, appriciated in the field of sensor technology in chassis systems or vehicles
  • Experience in the field of ECUs and mathematical evaluation methods (e.g. Matlab, Simulink)
  • Experience in requirements analysis and functional safety for mechatronic systems in accordance with ISO 26262 are appriciated
  • Creativity, ability to work in a team and enthusiasm for engineering challenges
  • Good language skills of written and spoken English
  • Structured way of working and strong communication skills
