THK in Dačice is a leading European manufacturer of ball joints for the automotive industry.
We produce approximately 38 million joints annually for steering rods, wheel suspension arms, vertical wheel joints, chassis stabilisers and also hollow joints.
The steering rods
The steering rods connect the rack and pinion steering to the wheel suspension.
Stabilizers
Chassis stabilisers are used to stabilise and slightly reduce axle vibrations.
Hollow joints
A hollow joint is used to connect the individual components on an axle and allow them to move together. It is able to absorb higher dynamic loads than a rubber silent block.
Torsion bars
Torsion bars for trucks are used to suspend and connect axles.
Control arms
Used to suspend the front axle wheels. On the front axle there are different types of arms such as cross arms, upper arms, lower arms where the main elements are the ball joint and the power block.
