CAE Simulation Engineer
Your tasks
- Development of chassis parts for passenger car- and commercial vehicle applications
- Performing numerical calculation and simulation analysis by using CAE technologies
- Setting up calculation/simulation models together with adapted boundary conditions
- Conducting static and dynamic as well as linear and nonlinear FEA analysis
- Conducting Optimization analysis both shape- and parameter-based
- Making Design proposals, modifications, improvements based on calculation/simulation results
- Development and establishing design evaluation by using Optimization techniques, focusing on mass, load, stiffness, vibration/acoustics
- Close collaboration as expert with internal teams/divisions, suppliers and customers
Your profile
- University degree in the field of Mechanical Engineering, Vehicle Technology
- Detailed knowledge of Mechanics and Numeric is appreciated
- Solid knowledge and long-term experience of FEA is appreciated
- Solid knowledge and experience of Optimization Techniques is appreciated
- Solid knowledge of Programming (e.g. Python, Fortran, Matlab) is beneficial
- Experience of CAE tools like Abaqus, Ansa, Meta, Tosca is beneficial
- Experience of CAD (e.g. Catia, NX) is beneficial
- Experience in the Automotive sector is beneficial
- Structured, analytical- independent working skills
- Strong communication skills
- Autonomous self-motivated personality
- Excellent English skills, both written and spoken; German skills are beneficial
- Willingness to travel within CZ and abroad
